Chicago River

Urban Rivers is an organization that aims at restoring the waterways in Chicago, Illinois by building floating eco-parks. They are focused on studying and reviving the city’s river ecosystem and water health.
Partnering with Urban Rivers, Vetaclear is able to offer water quality data from UR’s floating wetlands and assist them in monitoring the health of their projects and the general state of the river.
Water Quality Research

During storms, pure rainwater is able to wash away mineral and salty water, directing it quickly downstream. This pure water has less impurities and is therefore less conductive. Aug 18-20 during a period of heavy rainfall, our live data was able to see the drop in conductivity happen in real time in the Chicago River.
